Halting HRT: Treatment alternatives and market impact.(hormone replacement therapy)(Brief Article)
2002 DEC 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- In view of the current controversy surrounding the use of hormone replacement therapy, a new study from Theta Reports, "Hormone Replacement Therapy: Industry Alert," evaluates the latest market forecasts shedding light on the recent clinical findings influencing millions of American women.
While HRT has been the treatment of choice for symptoms associated with menopause, hysterectomies, and amenorrhea for over 20 years, recent research indicates that the risks associated with this treatment might outweigh its benefits.
