2002 NOV 27 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Jain PharmaBiotech announced the publication of a report entitled "Animal Biotechnology: Technologies, Companies and Markets."
The report includes veterinary biotechnology, where the applications of new technologies parallel those in human healthcare.
The report shows how advances in genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics are applied in animal biotechnology. Other technologies that are covered include genetic engineering, nuclear transfer for cloning animals, and xenotransplantation. Transgenic technologies are used for improvement in food production, manufacture of biopharmaceuticals, and creation of human disease models.
