Ukraine will buy 36bn [m.sup.3] of Turkmen gas at $44/'000[m.sup.3] next year. An agreement was reached during a meeting this week between Turkmen president Saparmurat Niyazov and Yuri Boiko, chairman of Ukrainian oil and gas company Naftohaz Ukrainy.
