"I'm just calling because, well, I haven't seen you lately, and I was wondering, am I going to see you next week?" "Well, Janice, the truth is, I don't think you will. I've moved, you see. So it's just... impossible."
"Oh," she said. She sounded disappointed. "The other ladies will be sorry to hear that."
"I'm really sorry, Janice."
