Backstory: A year after quitting Virgin Radio, presenter Chris Evans is back on the Brit TV scene as a producer. His new company UMTV has already secured commissions from terrestrial broadcasters.
Watch for: Daily early evening show "Live With Chris Moyles" for Five launched in late September with a respectable aud. Saturday night variety show "Boys and Girls" for Channel 4 will hit the air early next year. A second Five show, a daytime format; presented by Gaby Roslin and Terry Wogan, is in the pipeline. Evans also has held talks with venture capitalists with a view to buying into a TV channel.
