2002 NOV 14 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Pharmacia Corporation, based in Peapack, New Jersey, is conducting a voluntary recall in the U.S. of its contraceptive drug, Lunelle.
Women who use Lunelle are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider.
HealthPartners, a family of nonprofit Minnesota health care organizations, has suspended use of the Lunelle prefilled syringes and removed all lots of this contraceptive from its inventory as a result of the voluntary recall announcement by Pharmacia.
