DNA/RNA testing systems manufacturer elects Cynthia L. Sullivan to board of directors.(Digene Corp.)
2002 NOV 7 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Digene Corporation (NASDAQ:DIGE) announced that Cynthia L. Sullivan has been elected by the directors to serve on the Board of Directors of Digene. Sullivan is also a nominee for election as a director at the company's 2002 annual meeting of shareholders and if elected by the stockholders will serve for a 3-year term expiring at the annual meeting of stockholders in 2005.
Sullivan has been Chief Executive Officer of Immunomedics, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMMU) since March 2001 and President since December 2000. She joined Immunomedics in 1985 and has held positions of increasing responsibilities at Immunomedics, Inc., including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from June 1999 to December 2000 and Executive Director, Operations from April 1994 to June 1999.
