The Princeton, N.J., drug manufacturer The Liposome Company, Inc. has announced that TLC G-65, a gentamicin liposome injection for the treatment of disseminated Mycobacterium avium-intracellular (MAI) infection has been given orphan drug status by the Food and Drug Administration.
