How to improve F1? Some of our readers offer interesting suggestions, others say there's no need for change.
F1 should have no restrictions other than those regarding cockpit and barrier safety. If it's the pinnacle of auto racing and technology, let's see what these teams can produce when imaginations run free. As it stands, I guess we'll never see experiments such as the Tyrell six-wheeler ever again.

If you try to lower the cost, it won't be F1 anymore. That only a few teams and drivers have a chance of winning is the price of high levels of technology in the sport. Can you imagine the carnage if F1 cars were grouped together like in NASCAR? The critics seem to think U.S. F1 fans don't understand the sport, but we do. I'd rather see 10 minutes of road-racing greatness than drivers trading paint all day on an oval.
