Craftmade inks merger pact, plans new manufacturing site
Craftmade International of Grand Prairie has signed a letter of intent to acquire Fort Worth-based DMI Products and combine the two companies at a new 118,843-square-foot facility.
The acquisition is expected to be complete in July or August and Craftmade will begin moving into the new site, at 2700 112th Street in Grand Prairie, June 23 and 24.
"We took this building with the intention of putting everything under one roof," said James Ridings, chairman of the board and president of Craftmade.
