Rutchiks win bitter courtroom fight over real estate ventures
Round two of an acrimonious family dispute involving Morris and Elaine Rutchick of Dallas and Kansas City relative concluded early this month with a technical knockout for the Rutchiks.
After an eight-day trial in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, a jury found that businessman Steve Pack and members of his family were entitled to $1.8 million in damages from Rutchiks, who were fellows investors in several money-losing real estate ventures in Missouri, Texas and Indiana.
