Pair of defense titans spar over federal contract

In a battle between a pair of defense electronics titans, E-Systems Inc. of Dallas has sued Loral Corp. of New York for more than $6.5 million, alleging Loral failed to meet a delivery schedule to supply E-Systems with a set of sophisticated, digital tape recorders it needed to fill a federal contract.
