2002 OCT 29 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tommy G. Thompson has announced the appointment of six new members to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on HIV and STD Prevention. The panel advises the Secretary and CDC regarding objectives, strategies, policies and priorities for HIV and STD prevention efforts.
