The discussion of recommender systems that appeared on p. 620 in "Where Do You Want to Go Today? Inquiry-based Learning and Technology Integration" by Roxanne Farwick Owens, Jennifer L. Hester, and William H. Teale (April 2002 RT) included a reference to http://it-edtech.ed.usu.edu/alteredvista as the source of the work on recommender systems. However, the article did not make clear that these ideas were attributable solely to work conducted by Mimi Recker, Kimberly Lawless, and Andrew Walker.
