Long Point Pharmacy

Jeri Black Drouillard has opened Long Point Pharmacy in Mount Pleasant.

She will be joined by Paige Biggers and Lisa Davis. All three pharmacists graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and have extensive experience in the pharmacy business. Drouillard and Biggers previously were with East Cooper Family Pharmacy and Davis was with the Medical University of South Carolina's Children's Hospital pharmacy.

Gulf Stream Construction

Chris Spach has been named vice president of operations for the building division of Gulf Stream Construction Co.

Spach joined Gulf Stream in July 2000 with more than 17 years experience in the construction industry. He has a degree in construction management from East Carolina University and is a licensed general contractor. He has served in a senior project manager capacity on two major projects for Gulf Stream and most recently served as director of construction services.

Founded in 1966, Gulf Stream is headquartered in Charleston and is a subsidiary of The Beach Co.

U.S. Rep. Henry Brown

Katherine Jenerette and Rita Hartzog have joined the staff of U.S. Rep. Henry Brown.

Jenerette will be working as a field representative/constituent service representative in the Myrtle Beach office. She previously worked as an adjunct professor for the American Military University, Southeastern Community College and Bladen Community College.

Hartzog has joined the Charleston office as a constituent service representative, specializing in Social Security issues. She previously worked for the Social Security Administration and the Charleston County School District.

Carolina First

Adam Kermen has been named an assistant vice president at Carolina First.

Kermen joined the bank in 1998 and is currently a mortgage loan originator. He previously was employed with Collinbrook Mortgage Corp. as a mortgage banker. He graduated from Penn State University.

Horne/Guest Agency

Mark Combs, a specialist in the employee benefits area, is now representing the Horne/Guest Agency.

Combs graduated from Wofford College with a degree in political economy and philosophy and a degree in economics. He holds the Certified Financial Planner certificate.
