New service aimed at small business

WASHINGTON -- MCI Communications Corp., in an industry first, recently unveiled a long-distance service aimed at an $18 billion business market.

The new package, MCI Vision, is designed to provide small and midsize businesses with features and capabilities that have traditionally been available only to the largest national firms.

It offers customers a menu of long-distance features than can be tailored to their business, new billing and management aids, and broad volume discounts based on combined long-distance usage for all of a company's calls. Prices for these services are based on a flat per-minute rate, …
