Cartier opens Hawaii subsidiary
Cartier, the prestigious international jeweler, last week opened its first full-service boutique in Hawaii.
The new shop in Ala Moana Center is operated by Cartier Hawaii Inc., the first subsidiary Cartier has opened in the United States in 81 years, that being in New York City.
Akira Ohtomo, president of Cartier Hawaii and Cartier Japan Ltd., both of which were formed last year, said he plans to open a second full-service boutique later this year in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.
