The Linz would like to salute Lobos coach Rocky 3rd-And-Long for suspending Artesia freshman quarterback Kole "Pass-Me-A-Cold-One" McKamey for Saturday's pivotal league game against UNLV.

The 18-year-old McKamey got caught Saturday in Artesia consuming alcohol, police say. And The Linz thought only Lobos fans were turning to drink.

The Linz wasn't sure from the police reports whether McKamey was celebrating his promotion to the UNM huddle or agonizing about it.

The Linz figures if he were ever named the Lobos starting quarterback, he would turn to alcohol, too. The Great One would …
