The defense buckled down as Rio Grande manhandled Moriarty to remain unbeaten.

Inspired by their football team's play, a pair of Rio Grande High School crazies dashed back and forth in front of Milne Stadium's grandstand with a banner celebrating the Ravens' success.

It was a "Grand" banner, meaning it was wonderfully crafted but short a letter in the accuracy department.

The fans eventually came up with a hastily scribbled "E," at just about the same time the Ravens on the field found their "D." When it was all over Friday night, Rio Grande still had no "L," as the Ravens' 49-24 …
