Panasonic's parent to tab Denton or Fort Worth for new regional hub
Matsushita Inc., the Japanese company that's twisted Metroplex tongues since it began poking around the area for a regional-operations site, plans to choose one before summer heats up, real estate sources say.
The Panasonic Inc. parent company should decide between a Denton site and a Fort Worth tract within 45 days. After that, Matsushita will retain a U.S. architecture firm.
Doug Demers of the Dallas office of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum architects said the American site plans will be melded with those of a Japanese engineering firm to produce a preliminary strategy for developing …
