Table Toys: Soaring sales for dinky desks Scott Buske is celebrating the first birthday of his million-dollar brainchild, a small table with a Lego-compatible surface for snap-on blocks.

About a year ago, the Houston entrepreneur and two others founded a local company that sells the tiny kid-sized tables.

Buske says Table Toys Inc. now stands to rake in roughly $1 million in revenue for 1990.

Those strong sales follow what he calls "an incredible Christmas last year."

Even if Table Toys falls a little short of a $1 million volume in 1990, the revenue is still impressive for a product that has yet to build a big sales base at retail stores.
