The Social Security Administration (SSA) has renamed--and expanded--its online services for employers. The revamped system is now called Business Services Online (BSO) and is described by the SSA as a "suite of Internet services for businesses that exchange information with the SSA." (The system was formerly called Employer Services Online, and at press time, links and pages bearing the ESO logo were still on the SSA Web site.)

Here's what you can expected from the expanded online services:

* Unified access. The original system was divided into two sections: Integrated Registration for Employers and Submitters (IRES) and Online Wage Reporting Service (OWRS). …
