In her recent book The Starter Marriage and the Future of Matrimony, trend analyst and journalist Pamela Paul points out that many young couples today are getting hitched and then quickly dissolving their marriages before having any children. As a consequence, once-wedded men and women in their 20s and 30s are reentering the dating scene with divorce papers already in their filing cabinets.
