Firm adds new line of pre-cooked meals

Vie de France Culinary, a new division of Alexandria-based Vie de France Corp., launched a sous vide product line at the opening of its Alexandria plant last month.

The company will create, package and deliver up to 70,000 low-salt, portion-controlled meals a day out of its new 30,000 square-foot facility. Food which is slow-cooked is then vacuum-packed and refrigerated or frozen until ready for serving.
