Selling as many copies as the rest of the Top 10 put together, Coldplay's second album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, was always on course for a convincing victory at the top of the chart this week, but spare a thought for the Sugababes, who also premiered their second album, Angels With Dirty Faces, and had to settle for second place, even though its first-week sales of nearly 65,000 would have earned them the number one position more often than not this year.
