The fate of shuttered file-sharing service Napster was due to be decided at a postponed auction at the US Bankruptcy Court in Delaware last Friday, as Music Week went to press.

The hearing to decide who will acquire the assets of the California-based company was earlier postponed from the previous day as the court's other business overran.

Bertlesmann was due to offer the largest bid for Napster, after no other contenders came forward ...
