Music Week is expanding its coverage of the dance scene as part of changes designed to improve the magazine's service to its readers.
From this week, Music Week's dance charts will be given added profile by appearing on a brand new pullout section, which will feature extended charts, additional remix information and a new pre-release dance radio airplay rundown. The charts, which will also be distributed to 1,000 of the top DJs in the country, will be backed on the flipside by Top 40 singles and albums rundowns.
The revamped dance commitment coincides with a series of other editorial changes. Besides a reorganisation of the news pages, the MW charts are being reordered to reflect the hit process which lies at the heart of the music business, with Airplay and Exposure kicking off the chart section ...
