McLaren/Williams collaborate
* McLaren International has revealed it will collaborate with rival WilliamsF1 to develop their Michelin Formula One tires, in an attempt to defeat the awesome Ferrari-Bridgestone alliance.
``Where there's a common interest-and there's none more obvious than tires at the moment-we're going to work together. If we can work with any team, it's Williams,'' said McLaren managing director Martin Whitmarsh.
``Our relationship has always been competitive, but with a tremendous amount of mutual respect and pragmatism.''
