Swedish biotechnology companies have formed a new industry association that aims to attract both national and foreign investment to Sweden's biotechnology sector.

SwedenBIO currently has eight members - Amersham Biosciences AB, Active Biotech AB, Biovitrum AB, Karo Bio AB, Kvarnhealth AB, Medivir AB, Melacure AB and Pharmacia Diagnostics AB. The organisation has been formed along the lines of the UK's BioIndustry Association. …
