Colad Group buys school supply firm

Colad Group Inc., a Buffalo manufacturer and printer of sales presentation and promotional items, has acquired a Las Vegas distributor of television and movie-licensed school supplies and paper goods.

Colad has purchased New Age Pad & Paper, a Las Vegas distributor whose gross sales exceeded $7.5 million in the first year of operation after being formed Oct. 1, 1989. Terms of the deal, which was finalized in September but announced last week, were not disclosed.
