Members of the Library and Information Technology Association receive a wide array of opportunities to share their expertise and gain leadership experience. LITA also offers multiple educational opportunities for both members and nonmembers.

The 2002 LITA National Forum, "Making Connections," is slated for October 10-13 in Houston. Some 500 participants will take part in three general sessions, 36 concurrent sessions, and three preconferences. A reception, two breakfasts, lunch, breaks, and informal dinners offer additional networking opportunities.
