Lockheed Space Operations Co. (LSOC) has been awarded the Titan IV/Centaur Launch Complex Ground Support Systems contract at Vanderberg AFG.

Under the terms of the contract, LSOC will convert Space Launch Complex Six (SLC-6), the former West Coast space shuttle launch site, to launch the Titan IV/Centaur space boosters by 1996.
