TrailBlazer lament
Your long-term updates on trouble with the Chevy TrailBlazer don't surprise me, because I own one. I've experienced switches going south, and airbag modules, moldings and trim literally falling off. Add to this a chorus of squeaks and rattles. It's sad: an engine that could be from BMW in a body that looks like a John Deere.

New 'Stang blasted 37 years later
Back in 1965 when there was a lot of hype about the new Mustang, I took a test drive in the same model that you wax ecstatic about, most recently in your Aug. 19 issue. In two blocks, I stopped the car, gave the keys to the salesman and walked back to the dealership and my car. The Mustang was the worst-handling, poorest-built new car I ever recall driving. I cannot understand this nostalgia for a car that wasn't very good when it was new and certainly hasn't improved with age.
