Scrooges? Nerds? Not these two!

Janet Marcus and Albert Sproul detest the accountant stereotype. Whether CPAs are percieved as Scrooges in green eyeshades, crunching numbers by candlelight, or, in Sproul's terms, "stick-in-the-mud nerds," the two Willoughby-based accountants like to think they're as far removed from such stereotypes as possible.

"I'm so tired of hearing, |You're an accountant? You don't look like an accountant,'" says 27-year-old Sproul, who has been known to wear a full-length black leather biker coat and carry an alligator skin briefcase to work.
