Openshaw is targeting screen printers that don't have in-house imaging facilities with Openshaw JetSet, which produces large-format film separations.
The system, which is based on a Roland ink-jet printer, will also be aimed at users of thermal imaging systems that want to avoid hazardous waste costs and the high cost of replacing thermal heads.
Openshaw sales support manager Geoff Stephens said the company would embark on a two-week roadshow across the UK to demonstrate the new machine, which has already been sold to several screen printers.
The Openshaw JetSet uses Agfa SelectJet media, and has three settings outputting at 1.5 sq m, 3 sq m and 4 sq m per hour.
