Avery MBO allows firm new freedom.(Avery Dennison Business Media becomes Sentega after management buyout)(Brief Article)
Avery Dennison Business Media, the bespoke self-adhesive label specialist, has undergone an MBO, freeing up the new firm, Sentega, to explore markets previously prohibited due to conflict between divisions.
The buyout is a result of a group-wide review by Avery Dennison completed in July last year, which concluded that its brand had become too diluted.
Operations manager Steve Moore and head of sales and marketing Derek Ord will continue to run Sentega's UK site in Maidenhead.
They will report directly to Bent Hestehauge, who is now managing director of Sentega Labels UK, as well as Sentega Etiketten in Germany and Utrecht.
The MBO was lead from the Business Media division's headquarters in Utrecht by Svend Jorgensen, who becomes chairman. Jens Brusgaard is chief financial officer and Jean-Luc Verstraeten heads ...
