CNG wants value-added gas
Consolidated Natural Gas Co. Chairman George Davidson Jr. said his company is using a Pac-Man attack on the East Coast partly to bite off market share before the Canadians have a chance to dump natural gas on what is an increasingly lucrative market.
Speaking to the Economic Club of Pittsburgh March 6, Davidson said CNG is expanding rapidly all along the Eastern seaboard in an attempt to satisfy a demand that is attractive to both domestic and Canadian gas suppliers.
