Shareholders in the BP-led Shakh-Deniz project are expected to sanction development in October, BP president for Azerbaijan David Woodward tells Argus. He adds that project members are now preparing tender documentation for construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline. Construction of the $1bn line is expected to start at the end of this year and take around 40 months to complete.
