DRUPA 90: the 10th International Printing and Paper Exhibition

With some 1600 exhibiting companies, DRUPA is a "must" for everyone involved in print production whatever the medium involved. Catalogues and tickets are available in advance of the show, and those with as little as a day to spare can plan a 24-hour visit by taking advantage of superb rail/air travel facilities through Europe--but a week would do the show more justice The West German specialist manufacturer of standard and custom-built dryer systems, Eltosch Torsten Schmidt GmbH is to exhibit representative examples of its high-technology solutions to print drying problems.

The company's latest developments in infrared, ultraviolet, thermal and combination--short-and medium-wave lamps in a single air- or watercooled unit--dryers will be shown.

For UV curing, Eltosch will show, on stand 62D 25, special highly-manageable UV plug-in modules which may be incorporated in the delivery section of a press without the need for tools. The modules feature "automatic" integration into power and cooling systems. The Eltosch electrodeless, microwave-excited FUSION UV system will also be shown.

In-line water-based varnish coating systems are additionally catered-for by a new high-efficiency Thermo-Air Dryer which features infinitely-adjustable air volume and electronically-controlled heating.

Eltosch makes a point of meeting the demands of the graphic arts industry for flexibility by production of dryers in component parts for versatile combination to meet individual and varying requirements.

Eltosch dryers may be seen in operation in conjunction with a variety of machinery at DRUPA on the stands of Konig+Bauer, MAN-Roland, Merck, Planeta and Sakurai, et al.
