2002 SEP 4 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Oxford BioMedica, plc, has released date from phase I/II clinical trial of TroVax, a gene-based therapeutic vaccine for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
The data, presented at the International Society for Cancer Gene Therapy's conference in London by Dr. Miles Carroll, vice president of immunotherapy at Oxford Biomedica, is from colorectal cancer patients at the Christie Hospital in Manchester receiving medium and high doses. It shows that they tolerated the product well with no adverse reactions observed.
