High school students returning to area campuses on Monday won't be allowed to leave again until the school day is over.
The new rule is meant to promote safety, but it isn't sitting well with everyone.
"I really feel the community should have been more involved in making that decision," Boulder City High School parent Pat Armour said. "Our cafeteria seats 200 and we have 700 students. (The district) at least should have spoken with the parents and looked at the capabilities of the physical facility."
