TOTP2 is turning over four entire programmes in September to celebrate the 2,000th edition of Top Of The Pops.
Archive material spanning the 39 years of the world's longest-running weekly music show will be screened from September 2 across two weeks of the sister BBC2 show, which goes out in separate 25-minute editions every Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
