The paintings decorating the elegant space at 9 Queen St. represent the blood, sweat and talent of a mother and her two daughters.
Stroll into the cozy, yet airy, Smith-Killian Gallery and you come upon the artistic fruits of labor of Betty Anglin Smith, who has been painting for 25 years. Amid Smith's impressive large landscape canvases hangs the artwork of her 30-year-old daughters, Jennifer Smith Rogers and Shannon Smith, who have been full-time artists for seven years.
Even though her daughters are two-thirds of a set of triplets, Betty says no familial rivalry mars their relationship.
Smith's son Tripp, the third triplet, is an accomplished photographer with his work on display at the gallery.
