US lawyers can expect plenty of work in the climate field in the years to come, according to an article in the June 2002 newsletter of the American Bas Association's Climate Change and Sustainable Development Committee. Authors Nadja Marinova and Nadia Wetzler point out that despite the Bush administration's position on climate change, "US businesses and various state and local jurisdictions are taking climate change seriously and looking for ways to stabilize emissions" of greenhouse gases (GHGs).
