Seed and early stage venture capital firm Vanguard Ventures adds two general partners. Joining the firm is Hugh Y. Rienhoff, Jr., M.D. as a general partner. Rienhoff's responsibilities will include the the firm's investments in biotechnology and health care. Before coming to Vanguard Rienhoff was both an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist. Most recently he founded genetics discovery company, DNA Sciences, Inc. in 1998, and served as its chairman and chief executive officer. He also served as a director of London-based venture firm Abingworth Management Ltd., responsible for its U.S. operations, and served as a partner …
