Maryland thrift to acquire Sunrise Federal Savings

Second National Federal Savings Bank, Annapolis, has received approval from the Office of Thrift Supervision to acquire Sunrise Federal Savings and Loan Association of Virginia.

Sunrise Federal is a $45 million thrift with a single branch office on Route 50 in Fair Oaks Mall and a mortgage banking subsidiary also based in Fairfax County.
