PLM accused of securities violations
SAN FRANCISCO -- PLM International Inc., which removed its chairman last month in a public dispute that began when the company was founded, is confronted with a fresh class-action lawsuit alleging that it has violated federal securities laws.
The suit, filed Sept. 21 in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, alleges that misrepresentations and omissions of fact were made when the defendants solicited agreement to the fall 1987 consolidation of 21 equipment-leasing partnerships into PLM International.
