Beer drinkers belly up to bars for Buffalo brew

Beer tenders are toasting Buffalo Lager, the first locally distributed beer since 1972.

The deep golden lager made by Buffalo Brewing Co., a local micro brewery, is offered in about 25 area bars.

"It's been real good. I started with three kegs July 10 and I've got three more coming in," said Mike Driscoll, owner of Founding Fathers, Buffalo.

"It needs no promoting because it promotes itself. In fact we've had people coming in and saying, `You've got it,'" he said.
