Dorothy Stahlnecker brings lots of information to the sales table
It didn't take Dorothy Stahlnecker long to figure out real estate was for her.
When going through basic agent training, Stahlnecker was told it was a good sign if she could sell a house within her first 30 days on the job. She did, with almost a week to spare. That was in 1979.
A little more than a year later she did her first commercial real estate almost by accident. She was working in M.J. Peterson's Niagara Falls Boulevard sales office when two Canadians walked in looking for a parcel for an automotive business. Stahlnecker remembered the office had a listing on Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda and she put together the deal.
"I was so intrigued by the mechanics of a commercial deal, I wanted to know and do more," she said.
