Taipei, May 29, 2002 (CENS)--Nan Ya Plastics Corp., the largest maker of plastic materials, plans to invest NT$2.02 billion to expand its production capacity of DVD (digital versatile disks) and BOPP (biaxial oriented polypropylene film) this year

In addition to materials for making plastic goods, Nan Ya has diversified its manufacturing by turning out a variety of other products including polyester staple fiber, EG (ethylene glycol), BOPP, PCBs (printed circuit boards), electronic materials for making PCBs, small-size STN-LCDs (super twisted nematic-liquid crystal displays), and DVD-Rs (DVDs-recordable)/DVD-RWs (DVDs-rewritable).
